Dust storm from my backyard – Lismore, NSW

It’s funny how weather can change dramatically in such a short time! This morning was looking to be your average Joe blue sky-white clouds day, then within a matter of an hour the sky was a light orange/brown colour

Before I go on, let me update you with the latest news – I have a new camera! I received a shiny black Nikon D300 while I was in hospital the other day, so my faithful old D200 is heading out the door. Another piece of news is you can now subscribe to this blog! As I was saying, the sky was a lovely hue, and the wind was howling, so I grabbed the NEW camera with a 20mm f/2.8 and ND Grad and headed out the door.. did a lap around the house and nabbed a few pics.
So nothing spectacular here, just wanted to post some pics of the dust, with my new camera!

    bring back memories of that bad dust storm in mildura when you were still here? we miss this one but i did get a bit i was in Cairns at the time
